Sound Healing

Sound Healing (75 min sessions) –Sound healing is based on the premiss that everything vibrates. Vibration is energy. Vibration and energy in the body can be smooth and harmonious which is said to be in “resonance” or it can be blocked, stagnant and dull which is said to be in “dissonance”. Resonance equates to health and vitality while dissonance equates to dullness, imbalance, and disease. Based on the work of Eileen McKusick, these sessions include three segments. It begins with a sweeping technique using the Tuning forks, followed with Otto Forks which are weighted forks applied on the body on specific marma points, and then various sound bowls (crystal and Tibetan) placed on or around the body. This works to unblock energy and produce a smooth and harmonious vibration. Each session is most often dictated by a client’s primary concern, then a secondary concern and if time, a tertiary concern. Long term changes take time. Manifestations in the body take time to evolve as disruption and disharmony, therefore, it takes time to evolve back to vitality and harmony. That said, there are some immediate and positive side effects of these sessions. The vibration and sound of the forks and bowls triggers a deep state of relaxation and peace.

Sound Healing Tune up (60 min sessions)– A tune up is a session limited mostly by time. It resembles a sound healing session including all three segments, however, does not focus heavily on specific concerns. These sessions will also induce a deep state of relaxation and peace.
